Absolutely delighted with this coat. Lightweight and stylish - great fit
Beautiful coat and amazingly quick delivery! This is a brilliant all round coar, i have tried and tested for a couple of months now and it's most definitely waterproof! A tad tight across the shoulders but other then that, it's perfect.
Hi. The material is nice but not worm but and is a big but, I'm a size 18 and bought a size 20 thinking if cold always can dress a jumper. Surprise, this size 20 didn't even close the zipper on my hipps. Very sad and of course I return it without the option to a bigger size as the biggest was 20. Was a good price as bought it in a promotion. Went for another brand with true to size fit.
I am pleased with the Alice waterproof coat. It is a flattering neat fit for me (standard 10), I can add another jersey or gilet but not a jacket as the sleeves are a bit narrow between wrist and elbow. It said the length is mid thigh, for me it is right on the knee which is perfect. It was fairly creased from the folds on arrival but is now much better but the lining was tightly creased. I was assured that this would improve and that I should not attempt to iron it!
Fabulous coat. Windproof and waterproof. Just the job for dog walking. Agree with others that the hood could be a bit bigger. Doesn't cover the front of my head completely.
Comes up small. I bought the next size up but with a thick jumper on it is still a little bit tight. Not as warm as some if the reviews have suggested.
I was looking for a longer length, lightweight and waterproof coat and this seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.
The coat is fitted and whilst my size was a good fit, I wanted to be able to wear a chunky jumper under it in winter.
I contacted customer service and arranged the easiest return possible. Within a couple of days, the original had been returned and a new one delivered.
The coat is smart enough to wear on a day out, but practical enough for the yard. I am tall and the coat and the sleeves are a generous length.
The detachable hood is a good addition and I like the fabric lined pockets. The zipped inner pocket is a good size too and easily fits in a mobile phone and keys.
I am really pleased with the coat and the service given. NFC are easy to deal with and are my first stop for country clothing
Nice features like, inside pocket but for a change it’s just under the storm flap so you don’t have to undo your coat to use it. Sizing : I am a high street 10, this coat has enough shoulder to shoulder room to more my arms forwards I can wear a thin jumper under it only. It could have done with being a little bit more generous at the waist/ hip / bum area just to give a bit more fabric for when you bend over. So as I found, if you are a 10 and want to wear a chunky jumper under it size up but you may find the sleeves are then a bit long and the coat just feels too big. This style is meant to be more fitted. The hood could do with being slightly deeper. I like this coat as a stylish weather proof that can be worn in a town or in the countryside. In Britain it rains a lot but isn’t always cold so this coat is good for that. I chose olive which is a very nice silvery green colour with brown trim.
Hi really love my waterproof coat it is waterproof tested it out ! My only downside is it comes up small even though ordered a 2 sizes bigger! Any bigger than arms would have been too long. But very happy with it. Thank you
Sorry to say li had to send the coat back it was very small for the size it stated . The material and look are very good but the cut is not good for large hip people . I am glad to say I have now find a new coat that fits well at the correct size

Lovely comfortable waterproof coat , looks stylish too, great for walking dog along the beach in this wet and windy weather. I am looking to buy my husband a coat from you because this one is so good.
Pros:
Waterproof!
High neck (comes mid ear) which makes it perfect for wearing with a hat
Internal wrist cuff thingy - which helps stop water pouring up your sleeve when moving your arms around in wet weather.
Fabric looks and feels 'quality'
Cons:
Sizing - perfect if you're straight up and down, or even if you're top heavy (it's very generously sized in the bust) but not if you're pear shaped... measure your existing well fitting coat and go with the largest measurements (for me, hips) to work out which coat is best for you. I went for the 14 and it's roomy on top (I'm a 34c) - plenty of room for several layers - but 'snug' on the hips (I wear size 12 trousers in most stores)...
New Forest Clothing was not a company I'd come across before but I'm very impressed with the service and the quality of the products. I purchased a coat online and it arrived very quickly. It was a lovely coat but I'm afraid it was too big for me so I returned it. Unlike many companies when you return something, New Forest refunded my money really quickly. All-in-all, a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend the company.
Worn this week in the lovely rain and wind we have had and kept me suitably dry and warm :) I would recommend sizing up as I’m normally a 12 but 14 I wouldn’t say is roomy but I can fit a nice fleece underneath. Depends how you want the fit to be!
